Holly
House is A Children's Holiday Gift Program providing gifts and
necessities for low-income children in Snohomish County, Washington.

In 2013 we added 3 more schools in the Edmonds School District, and we now are able to serve low-income children in 15 schools (where some have a a 60% - 85% poverty level and 33 different languages represented).
We are a charity that started 9 years ago as a grass roots organization. We have gone from supporting 260 children to over 2,000 children in 2012 and our numbers continue to swell as the economy continues to struggle.
A Holly House core group of 16 volunteers work year round, and with the help of over 400 occasional volunteers, we provide necessities for our children. We also have an incredible community support system including local businesses, manufacturers, stores, community service groups, churches, dentists, hotels, restaurants, schools, teachers, scout troops, and individual community volunteers.
Every year more and more people join the cause to give our children what they need. Many of our families are homeless, live in their cars or in substandard housing. Our children go to school without socks, underwear and coats. Many of them go to bed without heat or pajamas and are cold.
The parents are sad, discouraged, embarrassed, angry that they can't meet the needs of their children. One of our biggest goals is to provide some of the necessities for the children so the parents can concentrate on finding jobs and building a life for their families.
Your generous and caring donations of new items such as: socks, underwear, hats, scarves, pajamas, books, stocking stuffers, stuffed animals and toys will give these children a warm and Happy Christmas.

- We are funded entirely by donations and grants
- This is our 9th year and we are still growing.
- We depend greatly on volunteers to help provide for the kids
